IXL Self-Assessment
My junior Autism class has had subscriptions to the IXL Mathematics website for the past three years and the passwords were given to me when I arrived in September. My first reaction was to use the site for busy work until a better alternative could be found. However, after two months of unsuccessful searching I found myself thinking outside the box to change the IXL software to meet the needs of my class. Two years later I found myself again finding this website beneficial for tracking the skills of a grade 3/4 class. The only thing I wish is that future site upgrades allow the teacher to select the level the student can access as the open-platform concept often requires significant monitoring for students who default to lower levels.
