Welcome to Exploring Education
Since my teaching goals have moved me through three different countries,
this site was developed to allow for one source which I could access anywhere
in the world with only a computer, printer and internet. Ten years later I continue to
add to each section and improve past entries whenever possible.
The templates and activities on this website are welcome to be used and shared.
PDF versions are available on the site.
Mac Pages version are available upon request
through the contact page.

Changing Paradigms
Sir Ken Robinson's Changing Paradigms Ted Talk has become one source of inspiration for my pedagogy and perspective towards learning and education.
By recognizing the history of education we can acknowledge that our methods and pedagogy are a learned phenomenon and not set in stone. From there we can expand our understanding on how people learn and the colourful array of practices to pick from. Knowledge is not only power for the learner but also for the educator as well. Therefore by Exploring Education we can develop ourselves, out students and the future of our society.
